Richard Clayton is Chief Correspondent at Lloyd’s List. He joined Informa in mid-2017 before which he spent more than 30 years at Fairplay, now part of IHS Markit. This included six years as editor of the weekly magazine. Alongside his writing analysis and opinion pieces, Richard moderates webinars and roundtable discussions, chairs conferences and seminars, and contributes to reports and white papers covering a broad range of industry sectors. He speaks regularly at conferences, especially on the future of the maritime business and on leadership for the next decade.
