Sigvald has led the Gard Analytics team since 2018. He joined Gard in 2005 as a corporate trainee and has worked in several departments within the Gard system, which include Risk Management and seven years in Hong Kong as an underwriter serving Gard members and clients in Asia.

Sigvald has a business background and has also pursued an EMBA while working with Gard.
