Aksel is the Head of Marine and head of Placement Marine & Energy, Nordics at Marsh based in Oslo.

With 15+ years of experience in marine insurance and risk advisory, Aksel brings deep expertise in strategic risk structuring, placement leadership and insurer negotiations across marine, offshore and energy-related operations, including hull & machinery, P&I, offshore construction, upstream energy and mobile offshore units. His experience spans multiple geographies, including senior advisory roles during international secondments in London and Singapore with Marsh. He has also served as an in-house consultant with a major client, providing direct advisory support on risk strategy and insurance structuring to executive management.

Aksel holds a BSc (Hons) in Maritime Business & Law from Southampton University.
