Christen Guddal (55) is the Chief Claims Officer of the Gard Group with responsibility spanning Marine, P&I, Energy and Defence and is based in its head office in Arendal, Norway. He has 30 years of work experience in Gard and has been part of the Gard Leadership Group since 2004, only interrupted by three years from 2007 to 2010 as Managing Director of Gard (UK) Ltd. in London. He was the Chairman of the Nordic Association of Marine Insurers (CEFOR) from 2015 to 2017 and has also had various assignments on committees and working groups in the International Group of P&I Clubs.
