Dave Wisse has worked in the commercial team of the global salvage company SMIT Salvage since 2013. After having spent 5 years in the SMIT Singapore office, looking after commercial matters in the Asia Pacific region, he is now working at the SMIT head office in The Netherlands again. Dave is responsible for commercial matters related to emergency response salvage operations, environmental care services and global preparedness agreements.

Prior to working at SMIT Salvage, Dave worked for nearly 5 years at a marine insurance company in both legal and commercial roles. He has a legal background holding an LLM (Master) degree in Business Law from the Erasmus University Rotterdam in The Netherlands.
