Dominick Hoare started working in the Lloyd’s market in 1985 as a graduate trainee with the Willis Group. He joined Munich Re Syndicate Limited in 1994 as an Energy Underwriter, and he was appointed as a director of Munich Re Syndicate Limited in 1997. Today, he is both the Group Chief Underwriting Officer and the Active Underwriter for Munich Re Syndicate Limited. Dominick is a past Chairman of both the Joint Rig Committee and the Energy Committee of the International Union of Marine Insurers. He has also served on the Board of the Lloyd’s Market Association and the Executive Committee of the International Union of Marine Insurers. He is currently an elected member of the Council of Lloyd’s.
