Based in Stockholm and been with the company for 21 years as General Manager Marine with responsibility for HDI Global’s marine business in the Nordic Region. Since 2026, also Global Head of Marine Hull at HDI Global.

Niklas has a long history and experience it the Nordic marine insurance market and been working with other major Nordic Marine insurers as well as broker at Marsh in Stockholm.

Niklas is Chairman of Insurance Sweden’s Board of Marine insurers for more than a decade and have a longstanding engagement in IUMI by being member of their Cargo Committee for more than 15 years and currently member of its Policy Forum.
