15 years in the insurance industry, last 11 in the marine & energy sector.

Before joining Howden in September 2023 as Head of Energy Ulf worked as Senior Underwriter for Energy & Special Risks at Norwegian Hull Club (NHC), with a special focus and responsibility for Upstream E&P business (both CAR and OAR) which Ulf also took part in establishing from the ground up when NHC started writing this line of business back in 2014.
